The nearest port to Le Haut Provost is Saint Malo, but it's an expensive crossing! Cherbourg is good with the fast crossing, but it tends to get booked up months and months in advance. We tend to go for Caen, which in fact is Ouistreham, or Le Havre as it's so much cheaper. The tunnel is an option, but with 6½ hours the other side we tend to arrive in Calais at 18.00 and stay in Abbeville at Domitys L'Aigrette Bleue - spotless self catering appartments with safe parking & take dogs.
The 'Etretat' (to Le Havre) and the 'Normandie' (to Caen/Ouistreham) have dog-friendly cabins. There are not many, so book very early! The other option is to take the tunnel, but it's a very long way once you get to France.
Payment by bank transfer is possible directly via us or French Connections. Payment by credit card is possible with HomeAway but they do impose a 'service charge'.
